Just did my first iMovie projects. It seems easy enough to do some simple things. There are some really awesome project themes, but I don’t have enough clips to make something decent as of now. Anyway, it should be enough for me, without diving into Final Cut Pro.

Me and Marisa are more and more happy about the Sanyo VPC HD2000. Below you’ll find a video I shot this morning just to check its macro capabilities, which apparently aren’t that bad.
http://www.vimeo.com/7866197Going through the motions with this camera has made me realize that I haven’t had the time lately to enjoy the fine photographic equipment I have, mainly the enlarger, and the fine lenses for the Zeiss. I can only wish I get the time and opportunity to enjoy all of this, as well as this video camera.
The holidays season is approaching at a fast pace, so I can only hope I get to enjoy my hobbies to the fullest with Marisa.
On other news, some professional changes may happen during this next week. We’ll see. I promise I’ll try to keep you posted.

During a debate on an internal mailing list on the company where I work, we started discussing the pros and cons of digital against analogic photography. Of course, I couldn’t stand still, so, along the day, I ended up writting a really big e-mail (in Portuguese, sorry folks), with the path I have done, photography wise.
You’ll probably find some rants along the way, so be sure to wear your protection hat.

I haven’t been updating this, but I have been taking some MMS to send to my sweetheart Marisa throughout the day, so I thought, why not share. It’s crapy, boring, but it’s a post! Do not have fun with this.

Hey there!
This weekend was great! I went to Marisa’s farm house near Ferreira do Zêzere, and I have spent a really great time while there! It’s a really peaceful place, with great landscapes.
I think the highlights were obviously, the time we’ve spent together, either when cuddling, sweeping the patio, catching oranges or running on the river shore (I obviously outran her 
, and don’t you dare denying this!).
Her family was really nice to me, and are great folks all around. The weather was a bit chilly, but other than that, all was perfect 
I suppose the highlight of the highlights was when visiting Dornes’ [1][2][photo] church, that is situated in a peninsula, the friendly church keeper promised us that when we’d get married, she’d fill Dornes’ church with flowers, and any time we’d go back, we could sleep over at her place. I think she really liked us, and thought we were married from the get go, because filling a church with flowers isn’t an easy, nor cheap task.

I am currently typing this while on an Alfa Pendular, going from Coimbra to Lisbon, where I am going to meet with Marisa in about 30 minutes, and after that, I’m going to have a work meeting.
Even the bandwidth isn’t too bad!
I just tested it, and I am doing 691.36 kbps down and 268.64 kbps up! These are really good results! Better than some cable connections (this is a 3G connection).
I wish my office was here all the time. We get TV, nice comfy chairs, really great landscape, air conditioning, etc… The only bad part is that I have to hear this guy chatting all the time on the phone, but that’s why headphones were invented.
